: What kind of influence does your significant other have on your functioning?

: For example, I am 4w5, my wife appears to me as 9w1. But she takes the test and shows her as tie for 4 & 5.

: Is it possible she is 9w1, and because of me, takes on attributes of 4&5 just by being around me?

: I also feel I have assimilated some 9 characteristics lately. Perhaps it is healthy.

: Anyone else have an experience like this?

I find that Cory and I share some interests...like personality psychology, for example, but it's natural seeing as how we are around each other and our interests kind of come together in conversation. But, I wouldn't say that we Try and be like each other, we just Are like each other. :)

If your wife is a nine, then it is very possible that she is merging with you, this the strong 4/5 scores. She identifies with Your characteristics instead of her own. 9s, out of all the types, have the weakest sense of identity because of their merging. I have a book that lays out some differences between these 2 types, but im too lazy to go upstairs and get it, so I'll post them later. =oD
