: I perceive myself as lonely when I am disconnected from myself for various reasons.
: Solitude is a pleasant state when I am alone with myself and enjoy my company.
: Alone is a state where I have set myself apart from others, physically, mentally, philosophically, etc.

: I am not a 4 and am guessing, but, if relationships and connecting are important.
: perhaps 4s are more aware of the missing ideal resonance and connectedness than
: I, a nine, experience. By this, I mean, to me lonely is unpleasant for me
: but involves me not others (unless I let them-codependent like.) I wonder if
: the relational disconnect/self disconnect is more deeply felt/experienced by
: 4s.

: I do not wonder who I am or where am I going. I only chide myself for lack
: of discipline. If something is not happening, I see the circumstances as
: a result of my ennui, or a form of Kismet to which I adapt. I am not aware
: of a sense of loss/missing something when I have no one with whom to share.

: My point is that I suspect 4s have a unique burden because of the realtional
: awareness, the felt experience plus the awareness of what is missing (what could be.)

: Threes are unaware. Twos repress. Other types have head and gut concerns.
: I think 4ws are right: "no body knows the troubles I have felt."
: (nor the joys.)
