This is a little off the subject - it has nothing to do with the "psychic" side of intuition, but it does have to do with the future-orientation of intuition, and the unpleasantness *that* can cause.
Specifically, I mean the tendency to think about the possible long-range outcomes of a situation you're currently in. This is especially applicable when you're meeting new people. A Sensate type will just enjoy the novelty of the moment. Or so the books say - I can't really go into that mode unless I force myself into a kind of ignorant stupor, and turn my speculative apparatus off. Assuming they are functioning as usual, iNtuitive people will be thinking "What if? What if?..."
