: I quit my job yesterday. It was a very dysfunctional office

: He told me that I needed to use the left side of my brain more and
: to be more of a thinker instead of a feeler. He basically said that I

: some people are. I like who I am and because of my sensitivity I have
: qualities that others don't such as intuition, creativity, and an

I can't believe he told you that if you were a more intelligent person that you
wouldn't be so emotional!! Some of the greatest geniuses are/were very emotional.
Without emotion, art and creation itself cannot exist! It doesn't sound to me
like he is at all informed about left/right brainedness. It just so happens
there are a lot of fours who can and do use their left brains very well (and
you may even be one of them.) That shows how little he really knows. You bet
you have a lot of awesome qualities that those people out there only dream of (well,
actually, given their lack of imagination they probably don't dream of them.) Anyway,
I feel with you. I too have been subject to similar narrow-minded discrimination myself
at times and I feel that you did the right thing. I think a person should always leave a job
in which there is discrimination at any level. Those employers should be exposed for the
unfeeling, narrow-minded people that they are!!
My two-cents
