Some of the greatest geniuses are/were very emotional. : Without emotion, art and creation itself cannot exist! It doesn't sound to me : like he is at all informed about left/right brainedness. It just so happens : there are a lot of fours who can and do use their left brains very well (and : you may even be one of them.) That shows how little he really knows. You bet : you have a lot of awesome qualities that those people out there only dream of (well, : actually, given their lack of imagination they probably don't dream of them.) Anyway, : I feel with you. I too have been subject to similar narrow-minded discrimination myself : at times and I feel that you did the right thing. I think a person should always leave a job : in which there is discrimination at any level.
