Isn't the purpose of the enneagram awareness to 'rise above' our 'sins', to stop our behaviours once we become aware of them?
Why try to 'be' or 'look' a type?
Who cares?
Just be yourself, and only use the e-gram 'knowledge' to decrease the destructive habits we are 'inclined' to take on.
And if that means to 'destroy' our selfish 'fantasy images' of how we *wish* to see people, than that's what that means.

True kindness, consideration, love, care, and growth, means *accepting* the *reality* of how people *really* are, not how we selfishly 'prefer' to see them 'be'.
Acceptance - that's what it all boils down to - accept people for who they are - with the least amount of prejudice and bias possible.
Hard work, but nothing worthwhile was ever easily gained.
To accept human beings without bias - one of the greatest accomplishments we could ever dare ourselves to do,
hope to achieve.

Come, I invite you, come join me, in one of the greatest challenges of all mankind: learn to accept our human brethen for who they are, regardless, 'as is', right at this very moment on.
You'll feel better for it, I know I do already.

: Ok, first out this is an apology. I did not mean any of the above said things. I'd like to make that absoloutely positively clear. None of it was meant to be taken offensively. Well, actually it was. Before you angerly click the back button please continue to read. I'm am fascinated with psycology and I enjoy seeing what certain people do under certain circumstances. Now, that doesn't mean that that's how I get my kicks, no, I studied your all's responses to see what you thought of my message. I was absouloutely blown away. All of you seemed to pity me rather than be infuriated with me. I am truly surprised by this. Well, I do believe that I understand this enneagram stuff, I'm an 8.
