Hello again,

First of all, I got hold of a book about the Myers-Briggs personality types, and that said I was either an INFJ or an ISFJ (I think I'm closer to the INFJ myself). Then, there was a grid in the back of the book that tells which Myers-Briggs types fit into which Enneagram type categories most often...for example, Type 4's are most often INFPs or INFJs. "Hmm," I thought, "I wonder what this Enneagram thingie is..." I read the little descriptions in the back of the book, and it seemed like I fit into just about all of 'em!! Not a very good situation.

Then I ordered "The Wisdom Of The Enneagram" and checked out the (simplified) tests; this said I was a 4w5, and when I read the description it sounded perfect. (It was creepy!) I believe I'm a Social type--antisocial, that is. *Heh heh.* Anyway, on Mackinac Island I got hold of "Discovering Your Personality Type," with a version of the Enneagram Questionnaire, and I took the test in two different ways and still ended up a 4w5 (I seem to have strong 1, 6, and 9 influences, depending on which test I take and when). So, I guess when you keep getting the same results, it must mean *something.*

But I only just heard of the Enneagram when I bought that first book, "What Type Am I?"; so I'm rather new to this also, maybe a year into it. Still, I've always been interested in different types of personality theory. I know this is kinda weird...but I've had an interest in astrology for a long time (*guilty secret!*), and this is probably why. (Not for predictive purposes--"Gee, I wonder if I should go out today--what do the stars say..." but for personality purposes--y'know, I'm a Libra, so I'm the perpetual diplomat, but I can never make up my mind...stuff like that.)

I guess it goes with being a 4w5! *Always* looking, and whatever you find is *never* enough.

I've been shuttling all over in the week or two since we got this...I must have about 200 sheets printed out on Egyptian mythology alone...I hope this printer doesn't break anytime soon.

Aghh, I'd better go eat something before I collapse. I think my eyes are about to roll back into my head.

Sorry for the odd ending!
