: I haven't been on the internet very long, either...This site is
: one of the few that I visit often because I am really into the
: enneagram and psychology in general. Anyway, I originally read
: the book "The Enneagram Made Easy" by Baron and Wagele and
: couldn't decide whether I was a 4w5 or a 5w4...I had checked off
: a lot of the statements for both! I then read the descriptions
: for both in "Personality Types" by Riso and Hudson, and I kind
: of thought that I was more of a 4w5. Then I took a few tests on
: the internet and came out with highest scores in the 4 category,
: with the next highest being in the five category. I drive my
: husband crazy trying to psychoanalyze him! I think that I read a
: little too much...Anyway, how did you come to the conclusion that
: you were a 4? Do you read a lot about the enneagram?

Hmmm...what in the Four description made you decide you were that one? And what other psychological systems are you into? And I am also curious what your age is. The reason I'm wondering all of this is, a lot of your very brief description matches me well enough, but I'm definitely 5w4...the description of a Five matches me to a tee. However, when I was younger (particularly 16-21 age, I'd say - I'm 30 now) I think I had a lot more of my "Four-ness" manifested, in that I was much more emotional and "tragic," if you will, so I believe there are some age-modifiers that affect personality in some ways.
As a Five, my natural tendency is to try to relate to other people through systems oftentimes, and I also read voraciously. I have to really pay attetntion in order to relate to people emotionally and not always be inside of my head and whatever system I'm most into at the time.
