It seems to me that all types seem rare and unique to themselves. Assuming that all types are more-or-less evenly distributed (which isn't necessarily the case), only around 10% of the population would be our type - not including wing or MBTI modifiers, which would further diminish the percentage of any specific type. By the time you account for differences in family & childhood training, cultural programming, age differences, and all the other arbitrary stuff that makes up being a being, the chances of meeting someone who is really "like you" is indeed pretty slim, especially when you consider how few people most of us tend to know on any "deep" level.
