The enneagram is quite complex and really needs to be learned and used, before you can accurately type yourself. Myers-Briggs on the other hand, would be much easier. It is administered to millions of people each year for college, career, etc. It is also based upon Behavior, which is easier to grasp at, so I would say the current figures for MB population is hitting the mark.

And for a very rough idea of how many people there are of each enneagram type, we could use the Myers-Briggs data as a basis. Since most 4s are NFs, we could reason that since not all NFs are 4s, and not all 4s are NFs, that the population is somewhere around 5-15% generally. Again, this is unreliable, but gives a general indication of the distribution of types.
