Several months ago, when I was relatively new to the enneagram, I lulled myself to sleep with the following question: what's my type? I found myself in a dream later on that night; or maybe it was a limbo betwixt sleep and waking. I saw a nondescript blue shape of energy before me. I posed a question to the matrix of energy: "What's *my* type?" (without much thought as to why I should ask *this* question of *this* entity). I thought to myself stubbornly "It's probably going to say 5." Sure enough, a faint figure of the number 5 appeared in the center of the matrix. It was vague and hard to see, so I decided to ask the question louder (to literally shout it). With no anticipation on my part, a large, ornate "3" appeared in the center of the matrix. In another dream, I (involuntarily) asked a person whom I thought to be a 5 what type *he* was, and he replied "Three." Anyone had any similar experiences? (Yeah, right. :> )
