Yeah, that's where I was too - no idea. I wound up joining the military for 6 years, not because I was enamored of the military, but rather because a recruiter called me and, having no other direction, I thought "Why not?". If it's at all possible for you, go to college (you probably qualify for a scholarship, right?): it beats getting a job right away, and you will earn a lot more than a non-college-grad. Plus there will be a lot of hot college girls, some of them as angst-ridden as you.
