Think of a time you impulsively acted stupidly -- you know, when you did something whose injurious consequences you could have avoided by being rational instead of impulsive.

Then ask "WHY did that behavior seem like a good idea at the time?"

If you can answer that question with honesty and awareness, you might have a real clue on your hands.

If you've never acted impulsively, maybe you have no type. If so, I'd like to meet you someday, just so I can say I've met the typeless wonder, who is a lucky, blessed freak.
