It is not that I do not like the process, it is that a process without a (hopefully/theoretically) obtainable goal does not appeal to me. The mental "click" of solution or relisation is great, but the click only has weight with me if I feel it is "along the way" or is itself a meaningful conclusion. This latter would be quests for the "meaning" of life. I have no delusions that some neat, humanly understandable meaning can be found, but meandingful "ends" in themselves are found on the search.
