You think femininity is wimpy. So that's it.
It's pretty hard to be feminine in a society that regards femininity as "wimpy"--for both men and women. It takes a *lot* more guts for men to act feminine than for women to act masculine. I admire men (and people) who are what they are--they have mental and emotional capabilities more noble than any attempt at feined superiority to others. Shed your security blanket of ignorant inconsideration and try it some time. You won't last two seconds because you've been swimming with the current for some obviously inordinate amount of time, and you lack the strength to swim upstream to the source of truth.

I'll let you in on a secret: you only *think* that's offensive. I think it's crude.
Here are secrets two and three: I'm going to be a virgin until my wedding night--so I should *hope* that I won't be having sex any time soon, being that I'm only 18. Secondly, I am going to marry a man I love--I know this without any a priori knowledge of who he might be. Granted, he won't be homosexual, but one of the fundamental requirements for an honest, loving relationship is respect for the other person's values, perspectives, and character traits. Including physical/mental traits that are regarded as feminine.
One thing's for sure, any man who can't live and think for himself is not likely to be anybody I want to spend the rest of my live with.

...using the context of homosexuality. Aren't you denying gays the right to be accepted for who they are by promoting the idea of indignity in feminine men, or indeed any man who recognizes that he has any amount of feminine qualities?

Let's see...out of all my close friends...2 guys have driven into the ditch. None of my girl frieds has had any sort of minor incident. And for the record, 75% of my friends are female.
Who in the Midwest tried to convince you of *that* ill-informed albeit conservative viewpoint?
