I find myself doing too much categorization sometimes. Your post has a relaxing effect on the mind and it brought forth many things I had meant to say but could not. I'll look up those books when I'm in the US.

Your understanding of Analytical Thinking involves a broader spectrum of functions, I detected. Anyway, in essence I agree.
