That's interesting Jen! It really hit home when you mentioned male 2s because I'm a female 5 who married a 2 & this has been an ideal relationship from the start - completely different from all relationships in the past for both of us. It makes sense because we seem to balance one another perfectly. He loves to do all the social obligation stuff, cook, take care of life's mundane details, nurture everyone & in general picks up all the daily slack (especially when I go off on one of my hibernating "study tangents"). On the other hand, he says I keep him mentally stimulated & more "aware" of how things work in life, the big picture & give rationality or a better way to look at things when he gets emotionally overwhelmed by people he works with etc... It's funny because I'm pretty sure I ended up with the better end of the deal, but he insists that he did! Go figure.
