: : How can I agree with something I disagree with? I never said I had a completely open mind. That's impossible. : : You cannot expect everyone to automatically accept your opinions. I don't expect you to share my opinions by the end of this. People "correct" others' actions because everyone has their own sense of morality and we must defend ourselves in order to remain individuals. That's healthy behavior. : : Allowing other people to influence you left and right (no pun intended) is *not* healthy behavior. For starters, if you believed every belief held among people in this world you would become awash with contradiction and ultimately deny yourself. : Cha cha cha Great, I have the perfect song for us to dance to! Tomato, tomata, potato, potata... let's call the whole thing off. : : : #2 If you accept people for who they are then accept me for who I am. : : I have, actually. : : You are a person with a physicality and a conscience. : Try not to be so descriptive. It takes a long time to process! In truth, that is the only conclusion I can make about who you are. That's all I'm expected to presuppose about you. Anything else would impose upon your humanity. : : : That was a golf analogy I wrote. NOW WE SEE who has the dirty mind, hehe YOU DO! : : Indeed, you admit it was an analogy..so *what* were you comparing golf to? I don't understand your argument. : That was meant to confuse and it did. The analogy or the explanation? : I hope you do wait until marriage and that the marriage lasts for life. Thanks; I hope it lasts for afterlife as well. :) (Afterlife in whatever form it may be...I haven't really decided yet.) : I AM attracted to breasts and high voices. ON WOMEN. Maybe I didn't explain where I'm coming from adequately, or indeed...at all. I apologize. Here is what I mean. My sister has only 45 of 46 chromosomes. It's a condition called Turner's Syndrome. Because of it, her body shape is masculine, e.g. wide shoulders, narrow hips, undeveloped breasts. But there are many wonderful things I can say about my sister. She loves to be around people. She is an intelligent and eloquent writer. She is persistent and determined. And above all, she adores babies and children; her dream is to be a pediatrician. Doesn't she deserve to marry and have a family, despite what she looks like? I have no doubts that there are men who are affected by a condition such as hers. I love my sister as she is. I admire her strong spirit. She manages to strive for not only her dignity, but her dreams, throughout all of the setbacks others place on her. I could love a husband with a similar obstacle. : : The intangible love of truth is far superior to physical attraction. : Truth is a concept wide open for interpretation. I think that from whatever angle you approach truth, it culminates to one definition. Truth is love. Love of life and love of goodness. : : I can never agree with any person, 100% completely so. In doing so I would erase myself...no two people are alike. : Anyway are you an INTP or INTJ? I am an INXJ 6w5 who was doing the pushy side of : the 6 pushy/surrender dichotomy. I'm an INTP 5. I tend to cross over into 4-ness and often times I feel more F than T. Which makes sense. I also identify with 9s because I am strongly introverted (same goes for intuitive, T and P are marginal). When I can express myself and my will in an introverted way (i.e. this string), however, I find that I can do so more forcefully and self-assuredly. Not that all 9s are introverted. It just seems that 9s tend to want to get away from it all.
