That seems contrary. (Ofcourse, I'm sure you can pull an argument from out of hat for that one.) I don't know where you are getting the impression I am detail focused. I think about reality in the broadest possible terms, perceptions and beliefs, rather than in more narrow terms of exactly which perceptions or beliefs. I don't have specific laws governing reality, like you apparently do. : You're right we support VERY different concepts of reality. I see yours and it seems less likely to me... but I don't rule it out either. Mine is not just MORE likely; from a logical standpoint (not that I am saying that a logical standpoint is the best one to take) mine is true, whereas yours is based on theories. From my point of view, right now, I have information pouring into me, such as thought and touch and sound. As far as I know am passive, not necessarily affecting my reality, because if I am active, it affects REALITY and not MYSELF, so I don't know about it. The outside world acts on me, and there is no way to know if what seems to be myself acting on me is just another part of the outside world or not. That's just an example. The rest of the most integral parts of my view of reality is also based on logic, as opposed to yours, which is based on the scientific method. : I don't believe I know any absolute truths (or I should say: if I know them, I don't know I know them) but I do believe in the possibility of their existence. And I choose to support my conclusions with consistancy while maintaining an open mind. Otherwise, there is really no use in discussing topics at all. Let's test something. Do you think that 10 = 10? I bet you do. So do I. Are you absolutely sure of it? If you aren't, we are more similar than I thought, and I will be surprised. If you are, I guess we will have to keep on sending over ideological UFOs to each other from our respective solar systems. : : See, you always think about things from the viewpoint of science. I always think about things from whatever viewpoint I happen to think is most relevant. : That's convenient when you don't like to be wrong. Very convenient. You see, when you always think about things from the viewpoint of science, you often ARE wrong. You are basically saying, "It's convenient to believe in something that isn't wrong when you don't like to be wrong"
