I have very little exposure to European films... other than the few that make it to the United States... and I speak only English. (You're quite fluent in English, by the way. I'm very impressed!) I recall watching the wonderful "Jean de Florette" and "Manon of the Spring" (quite a few years ago). And I remember enjoying "Au Revoir Les Enfants." Among Italian films, I certainly enjoyed Roberto Benigni's "Life is Beautiful." And "Il Postino" was also quite good! Whenever I'm at a Club Med, I wish I could speak more than one language. Staff members at these resorts in Mexico speak English, French and Spanish. All I know is a little German from my school days. - Robin
