Off hand, Judith Searle comes to mind. The premise is that the top (8,9,1) of the Enneagon represents "light" of being and that the bottom (4,5)
represents the absence light (being.) The absence of light (being) leaves a void that is expressed as not quite 4, not quite 5, but somewhere
in between. In this line of reasoning, not "being" (fixated on head or heart) leaves individuals in a "darkness" of not "knowing" or not "feeling"
self. Simply put, confused. I am just the messenger. Don't blame me.
