I now and then do some counseling for youger people like you (I'm now a "mature" one). My first advise is to tell them, take a blank piece of paper and divide it into two columns. In one of them list as many as possible (at least a dozen) moments where you truly enjoyed yourself, no matter where or when. In the other column, list in a similar way moments where you felt stressed and unhappy. Then, for each of these moments, start identifying which capacities you have tapped in, which capacities you lacked, what was your motivations to do or not do what you were doing then. This exercise ought to help you get to know yourself better and become aware of your real needs and capacities.
: Anyway, my major dilema at present is that I am just graduating from college and I don't know what I want to do.(Yes, I know that this is the age-old dilema...) : I have lived my entire life making sensible/logical decisions but most of them I really don't like. So I have reached a point whereby I am poised to go to graduate school and while I want to and probably will continuously make logical choices, I don't want to be unhappy at 40/50yrs. I believe one way to prevent this is to tap in to what naturally would work for me based on my type. Hence, anybody that can give advice for possible career choices, please reply. : ps. I am a Biology major, with a strong preference for mathematics (statistics), physics, and cartography. Biology doesn't interest me.
