I have just spent the last hour reading your postings. WOW!! For the first time I have met people who are truly like me. I have searched long and hard and needless to say, I was beginning to wonder about the validity of typing. However, having located you I guess there may be some truth. Hi, I've just discovered this place too. I didn't really think there would be a 5 board since we're all so reserved and distant. ;) : ps. I am a Biology major, with a strong preference for mathematics (statistics), physics, and cartography. Biology doesn't interest me. Interesting that you studied Biology when your interests are the hard sciences. I studied environmental science (and discovered how much i hated biology) and also maths (applied). Now I am doing meteorology, which I love. It uses both courses I took (env science wasn't all biol thank goodness) which worked out really well. You say you have an interest in stats, physics and cartography; how much training do you have? If you are planning graduate study or employment, you may not have sufficient qualifications in those fields for a career. It may mean taking another degree, although with a previous science degree you should be able to get some exemptions, or even do it as a grad dip. For actual career paths, perhaps consider oceanography, that seems to fit in with your interests.
