Baron & Wagele confirm that female Fives very commonly choose male Fives for their mate. Next in line would Sixes and Nines. Pairings with male Threes and Fours are the least common. Male Fives, like myself, most frequently choose female Twos. The next most common choice would be female Ones. Pairings with female Threes through Nines are less common. My choices for romantic partners have been varied, though the most memorable one was an eight-year relationship with an INFJ 4w5. True to Keirsey's assertions, this INFJ was indeed an empath. Even when I didn't communicate verbally, she could feel my warmth and tenderness from just a touch of my hand. Now I'm starting to ramble... but here's a thought: Maybe someone will start an Internet Matchmaking Service based on EnneaType preferences.
