A few words on my own experience. I haveso far lived with a 4, a 8 and a 9, have been dated by another 4, another 8 and a 6. My first comment, two things matter more than "type" itself, the level of maturity of the person and his/her awareness of core values. Personally, I have never been attracted to 3s, 7s and 1s. 5s with 2s is a very difficult combinaison to deal with, 5s with EVOLVED 8s can make a wonderful pairing, 5s and 6s share a lot in common and with enough maturity may go a long way, 5s tend to be the loosing end in a 4+5 partnership, 5s with a strong enough 6 wing can build a rather pleasant partnership with 1s. Living with an average 9 can be hell, I learnt it through experience, they have no sense of limits and become very intrusive.
My own choice now that I reach middle age tends to center around 5 or 6. I go along with the idea of creating a "meeting" site centered on the enneagram.

Okay, I'm a five with a four wing. The loner aspect has complicated and attributed to almost every relationship breakup I've had. I'm starting to become convinced that I need to date another five in order to find someone who understands that introvert does not mean stuck up or low self esteem. The only question is, where the hell do you meet another five? Has anyone else had any luck? Any advice?
