Enneagram Type 5 Board Archive talk to bri...Posted by isaacthe54 on February 28, 2001 at 11:14:23: In Reply to: Took the test three times, figure for a 5 posted by Devlin on February 28, 2001 at 04:38:28: look down the board a bit, where bri talks about a crisis regarding testing and typing oneself. tests are evil. don't listen to them. if you're having trouble typing anyone, self included, it's cause you don't udnerstand the person or the type that they are well enough. a test, no matter how good it is, will always be misleading. enneagram tests are the worst thing to happen to the enneagram. just learn the whole system, and then use it. read a lot more. get inside the head of every type. tests are bad because they tend to focus on superficialities. don't make the same mistake.
