When I'm confronted on the issue of my typological "standards," I can't deny that it's a personal thing, and if I'm reasonable, I should be prepared to admit this wholeheartedly. Which is why, when I write about the Enneagram, I'm more careful than ever to declare practically everything to be a personal opinion: I practically overuse phrases like "to me," "in my view," "on my bias," "to my mind." When you make this underlying point clear, you overcome the first hurdle in the communication game.
