I once described it as feeling finally able to "think on my feet" and doing so continuously gives me more and more confidence.. However, there just are some things that scream 9.. but, I suppose each little thing could in some way really be the aspect of a 5 or an 8 or whatnot.. I do recognise that the ideas most people have about each of the types is a very narrow version, average health level, etc etc and a healthy person would appear completey differen from someone of the same type, but unhealthy.. Thanks for you insight. I also had another thought.. people tend to associate 9s with indecision.. not necessarily the inability to pick something, but with seeing the merits of all sides, etc.. When I really think about it, its torture! Is this a 5 thing? and aside from that, any fellow 5s have similar feelings/ and or advice on their own experiences with said feelings??? Thanks again! : Hi me! : It's probably better to get into the depth of what you percieve your type to be, rather look to see if you've moved to a different point. I sense that you assume that by 5 moving to 8 they become more bossy and dictatorial. Not at all. That's taking on the traits of the connecting point at an average or below level. : 5 going to 8 means that they move out into the world and use their knowledge and vast abilities to observe, think, and be objectively perceptive. It means that they move from being a passive recipient of life's experiences into a participant. It means that they have found confidence in their personal, emotional, and interpersonal boundaries so they aren't overwhelmed by the world and others. : Does this sound more like you now? :
