i think feelings are derived from the ego,and the functions and centers do match,so why do you feel otherwise?

ego only exists in referance to yourself and another object,just like feelings.the aggressive types 8-7-3 all have a static ego(unchanging underlying feelings and sense of self)that they repress,hence narcissism(not the real self)and they run away from themselves,shame and any negative feelings,which often means going against others(especialy if you arouse those feelings).the compitancy types 5-3-1 all are all partly disconnected from ego.they're all unemotional and OBJECTive.5s and 1s have a one sided sense of self,5 relate object totaly to self(thoughts)1s don't relate self to the object(which is why Riso says they under relate)and 3s have a two sided sense of self(they do both)and are two faced.lastly,all the types in the feeling triad are clearly ego dominated.explain specificaly why you don't think ego is related to feelings?i thought it made perfect sense.i also beleive the freudian functions fit in well if you look at it dynamicaly and don't veiw it to rigidly.

: Ego does NOT equal feelings. Think it's fairly easy to make that very incorrect association... three centers to id, ego, superego... but it's a gross mismatch.
