It made life really hard for me. But since taking melatonin a couple of years ago, I've not had hardly any sleepless nights. It also does not have a hangover effect the next day. And it's cheap. It can also be used to reset your bodyclock if you do have a lie in, or when travelling. That's what it was innitially invented for, jet lag, but insomniacs have found it works for them. I've had no side effects. For myself it did tend to weaken me and I also found myself building an immunity to it and needing more. Good maybe at first. In the long run, thumbs down. _Riv
