At this time, it is necessary for me to have a full time job outside my home, so I spend eight hours a day surrounded by people (mostly women) with whom I share no common interests. As a 5, I tend to communicate by exchanging information. Since I am restricted to subjects the others are interested in (themselves, their lives, their pets, their hair, etc...) it has the effect of turning me into gossip. If I don't participate in the conversation, I'm "aloof" and if I talk about the subjects I'm interested in, I get blank stares.

I've only been on the Net since January, and it's been a joy to be able to talk to people who share my interests. I still have to do my 'social thing' at work but at least I can laugh at the irony of being a 5 gossip.
