Does it make sense, logically, to put time and energy into a life decision without the belief of a positive outcome?
Example:
What is the positive outcome of deciding to smoke and develop a nicotine addiction?
The statistics prove that it has a negative outcome on overall health. Because it makes one feel good or look good to one's friends is irrational.
Using logic, would this not make smoking an asinine thing?
It is my understanding that fives use logic to make decisions. So, if there are fives out there who smoke, how do you defend your decision to do so logically?
