: ... if there is a God, it sure as hell is not a 5.

I like the idea of 9 enneagram gods constantly at war with each other trying to influence others to follow their will. Unfortunately God #5 isn't very ambitious and therefore doesn't control enough people. Damn typical 5...

: Shit, the world is full of idiots, isn't it? Literalists... fuck them... they should just be fucking killed... or at least branded with some kind of mark so those of us who have some sense can easily avoid them... something like a gold star. I just don't want to have to look at their slack-jawed faces and empty stares anymore.

Idiots are easily avoided. But I prefer to get them to think. There's nothing I enjoy more than getting a so-called "idiot" to really think about who they are and why something is the way it is in the world. If you read your Plato better you'll see that Socrates went out of his way to question idiots, not to kill or avoid them. He gained many converts in this way, including Plato himself who was probably a 4w5 and not a 5 at all. Perhaps you could do the same if you tried, Liz.

: Ya know, if I was God, I'd leverage the concepts of good and evil around intelligence rather than morality. No, damn Disney's Snow White for my Madonna. Plato would be my Prophet Isaiah. Da Vinci my John the Baptist. Einstein my Messiah. Churchs would have standardized tests to separate the saved from the damned... it would be kind of like Mensa backed by the power fire and brimstone. I'd be turning athletes and blonds in pillars of salt left and right. It would be UTOPIA.

Religion is about hope, not about damnation. I'm sure you realize everything I'm telling you as you're quite an intelligent person but so-called "rants" always bother me as they're always so full of pessimism and general negativity. I'd rather try to change the world in the ways I actually care about and just laugh at the world when I'm too lazy to want to change something. This isn't "intelligent discussion" at all. It's a bunch of crap that your average 6 could come up with in a heartbeat. Say something which actually enlightens people and makes them think original thoughts. Your tongue-in-cheek posts are growing stale on me already and I find it difficult to believe that others on here can continue to be so amused by your overly black humor.

: Actually, the traditional Christian God kinda reminds me of Captain Picard (only with a long white beard and that magic ET finger)... must be a 1w9, obsessive-compulsive/symbiotic... prone to occasion bursts of righteous anger.

Heh heh. God in the Bible is indeed a 1w9, but I think in the modern world he's a 9w1. I don't believe he's really done much lately. As Perry Farrell sings, maybe "he's not there at all."
