To a point - I do not want to bicker with you, but I also, if this is your attitude, have no desire to discuss with you - there are a lot more interesting subjects and more open people to discuss with; you ask me to enter into the argument, yet you have already made it clear you have no intention of going deep into an argument. Well, I'm sorry, but surface arguments are boring to me. To be Blunt, without intending to bash you - you have a keen analytic mind, but you position is not consistent - it is also not original and has been hashed and rehashed by a lot more developed thinkers. If you HAD read some of them, then we could have really probed some of the interesting aspects of the questions you bring up. BTW, perhaps the "leader" in philosophy today is a man who presents the same positions you do - he too is a philosopher who claims that there is no point to philosophy. He however, does not make simple errors like confusing Logical questions and epistimological ones. (:) Okay, you got me talking trash there!) Keep up the thinking - don't go into science - you will make too good a philosopher.
