I can certainly see "needy people" drawing on one's energy and patience - it's not the 5's makeup to be a caretaker - but it is a personality thing, no? Some personalities are more likely to be "needy" or to express unhealthy moments/times as such. Society sends somewhat mixed messages - we do not value the "needy" yet we do value the caretaker (or at least segments of society do - church, social org., etc.).
