: Question 101 on the Enneagram test: My approach has been to jump in and rescue people or my approach has been to show people how to help themselves. I answered the second way, but actually my approach has been to let people help themselves........... although on occassion...... I wonder how the fives answered.

I would like to show them how to help themselves, and if I know the person well I will try that. If I don't know the person well, so I don't want to talk a lot, I will just tell 'em what to do. This is on an intellectual trouble; in a more physical trouble I just help them myself, though there has only been a few occasions where I have been in an opportunity to help someone physically (example, not fall off cliff).
