The macro and micro of life

What is the purpose of life?

From a micro-biological perspective it is to pass on ones genes

This answer is irrelevant to me on so far as it defines a general concept based on rationality - show one instance where it can be objectively proven the universe is rationally irrational and I will believe it, however purely for some thought fun here's a little game. I have indicated with use of 'micro' I do not believe this answer is revelant to the big picture explanation of the purpose of life.

What are some answers to the purpose of life collectively? What purpose does life-kind have?

As I stressed the whole idea that life actually has a purpose is just a cognitive illusion created by our inability to understand the metaphysical dimension of language. So please don't take this as a serious question just a game - religions profit from people taking such a question seriously.
