It doesn't matter what religion or philosophy. I was thinking along these same lines over the weekend...and I'm not even an atheist...sort of a custom blend of Taoism and Presbyterianism. So, it means I like balance, whiskey, and Amazing Grace played on bagpipes. Anyhow, I'm getting scared of this sudden and rabid nationalism. This is one of those times when people aren't thinking...when they are so caught up in emotions that they seem to abhor thinking. This seems to be a time to choose my rants carefully. This liberal white trash boy is frightened by the nationalist wingnuts as bad as he's scared of the terrorists. I don't understand religious fervor at all.
Perhaps of the low IQ joe monster trucks and travis 6-packs reverting to the ignorance of the 80's where steve chevy camero wore "The Aiatolla can suck my weenieola"? I think the nation is more intellegent now. We dont have a leader with hair dye solvents shrinking his skull (Reagan).
