Laurence, you've been going on in the past about how perceptions are impure and shaped by unconscious cognitive processes and how we don't perceive at any one time all that we could perceive at that time. Well, perceptions are ALL the info we get. They are NOT necessarily representations of any world. If they were shaped before they got to us by unconscious processes, then they are different from the world, but still perceptions. If we don't perceive all that is possible to perceive, that's fine and does not shake my philosophy in any way. Stuff that is only possible to perceive doesn't enter into consideration. You may be right in your statements, but they have no relevance to anything I am saying.
