His behaviour is extreme & he has no sense of self-control with you.
Fours often get "clingy" when their partners become abusive, and I bet that is how you have reacted to his cruelties.

It's like this, he says or does something cruel, just leave, or make him leave. I realise you share a place so that will have to stop. You must move out. I'm not saying you must leave him altogether ,(I hope you do, but you probably love him too much) but you can't cohabit right now. Not unless his behaviour becomes acceptable.

Trying to "reform" men is a really, really bad idea. But if you must try, you have to provide 2 things 1) rewards for good behaviour that he really likes and 2) punishment for misbehaviour that really stings. 1) can be sex, massage, compliments, gifts of things he will like (as opposed to things you like which you hope he will too). The VITAL THING is that you only give 1) for good behaviour. If he storms in, wanting a fuck without paying you some good attention first (at least 5 minutes cuddling & kissing) ignore him & push him away. Remember Aretha.
Never give oral sex unless he's been a VERY good boy. By this I mean he hasn't said or done anything jerky in two weeks. If he spends a long time behaving well, you can increase the dosage to a blowjob a week.
Even if you don't like receiving oral sex, make him do it at least once a month. You've got to train this boy to get a work ethic.

2) is more than just witholding sex and all the other little nice things you do that he values way less than the sex. You have to be OUTTA THERE!
This means: MOVE OUT NOW!!!
His behaviour will never improve unless you can storm out of the house when he does something shitty. Don't kid yourself.
