: Hi Heidi,
: not long ago I read avery interesting book on the subject writen by a well know french researcher, Pr Israel. He touches on cultural differences, comes up to the conclusion of a huge inbalance in our currant western culture leading to lots of thus induced pathologies. Sure we could draw a parallel with etypes, but keeping in mind that etypes are differenciated not on single criteria but rather on a systemic basis (interaction of several key factors leading to specific sets of beliefs and values). Of my head, it is quite clear to think of 1s, 3s and 8s are left brain and 4s, 9s as more right brain.

I read a great article recently on systemic thinking as it relates to physical health--it got me thinking about a lot of things, namely this post.

I have the similar impressions regarding the e-types as you've mentioned above. Since imprinting is holistically experienced (ie. physical health problems that result from unhealthy/negative beliefs), do you think there is something about types 2,5,6 and 7, the types that don't leave either of us with any clear impression one way or the other, that makes them more likely have imprints centered on beliefs gathered by the experience of memories residing in both brain hemispheres? If this is the case, do you think that these types are more inclined to be lateralized than types whose systemic makeups lead them to have imprinted material centered more around either their thoughts OR their feelings?

The thing that has frustrated me slightly about the previous responses I've gotten to this question is the cut-and-dried nature of the responses. I'm not under the impression that this question is so simple as to warrant answers that don't allow for uncertainty or subtlety. No offense.

I just woke up, so I don't know if I'm being as clear as I want to be.
