: wake up, humans are selfish. there's no way out of it. you can be smart and healthy with your selfishness, or you can try to hide it and lie to yourself and everyone else around you. if you ever think that you're doing something for someone else, take a moment to wake up and figure out what it is you're getting out of it. if you find that you wish you didn't want what it is youre chasing, then maybe you shouldn't chase it.
