I agree with you, Diarmuid, because you're right.
Isaac is just making random comments to justify his pot-smoking tendencies that will work against him in real life. They already have. He's just trying to maintain an illusion, that things will remaing alright if he smokes. Even though there's evidence to prove the contrary.
I wouldn't like to be him. So many issues to deal with. I can only imagine what it would be like, trying to live for days without a subtance and needing it. Horrible, I can imagine.
