A lot of the concept were very meaningful indeed, but I felt like I was being taught them the way a person tells a story to a 6 year old to teach the them the difference bewteen right and wrong... if you're going to talk about buddhist ideas, (as well as many other ideas that werent realy given their proper credit), then do so straighforwardly. Or, if you really want to use metaphor, use sophisicated metaphors. I think the book had a lot to say, but I wish it was said differently because at the time I didnt want to finish it. My teacher later confessed to me that he thought it a book more appropriate for a 4.. he knew I would have enjoyed a book that was more about staright buddhist philosophy or something of that nature. Speaking of books, however, has anyone read Einstein's Dreams? *thats* and excellent book for 5s if you ask me. : The ideas about the mind and the body and how neither should control the other are very interesting and powerful.
