Enneagram Type 5 Board Archive there is light at the end of the tunnelPosted by Margaret on October 22, 2000 at 04:55:22: In Reply to: trusting others posted by LD on October 21, 2000 at 10:16:02: This is one of the most saddest, disheartening, sad, posts I have ever read. What is good however, is that broken dreams are like dark clouds bursting out full of thunder and rain. They open themselves up, pour out all the rain, let out all the thunder, then once it's all drained, they loose the sad, scary darkness they all had once before, the sky brightens up, the sun shines coming out to play, and the people come out the doors to see the passing of the sky. Moods change, perspectives change, opinions get re-evaluated, expectations get readjusted, realigned, all in light of new and ever-changing circumstances - for this is the true course, the true nature of an ever- changing life. Therefore, this is why there is no need for eternal depair, for there is no bleak dark blackened dearth of hope at the end of any tunnel, there is always change, hope, and light at the end of every tunnel, every pathway, every change of hands, turn of the guards, in every state of mind - you just learn to make it that way - There is hope, goodness, God, and light, and all things, just open yourself up to it and it will reveal itself, it's nature, to you.
