: Hmmm, I think perhaps I made a mistake - that's it 5's often have difficulty admitting their wrong... (I'm not thinking of anyone in particular:) yes that's it I'm definitely a pseudo-5! : But seriously how different are 5's and 1's? Are 5's more intellectual - most 1's I know are in university - wait all the 1's I know are in university (For the Americans Univeristy = College = Tertiary Education, savvy?) or are heading there very soon. Though they tend to be in environmental science or teaching and the fives are doing engineering, computer science, chemistry and Arts. : As a psychology student (Though I now think psychology is the biggest waste of time) it has occured to me that the most important factor determining the IQ of most people is their personality. For example I know a girl with an IQ of 135-140 now my IQ on the same test was about 122 - now none of our friends would say she was more intelligent than I(I'd argue that she is - only her intelligence is very narrowly used so her full potential intellectualy is has never been realised) This is all assuming you can rely on the testimony of IQ tests - I don't, but to illustrate my point I used that example. : So my major question is: : What features of type 5's and 1's make them intelligent? I'm fulling aware of the Jungian explanation and the myers-briggs but I don't think these typographies are sufficient an explanation - as 2's can be brilliantly intelligent but tend not to be(Sorry if I just insulted some of you) in the same way 5's and 1's are. If you get what I mean.
