This too makes sense. I would like to use some logic to help you. : : Lucid,if the first time you went on a picnic, you had a great time until you got hit with a surprise tropical thunderstorm, would you give up picnics? If on the first job you ever had, your co-workers rode you and your boss accused you of stealing and fired you, would you become unemployed for life? If your first car turned out to be a lemon, would you use public transportation from then on? : : Since you are on an Enneagram board, you know about different types. : : Why is it that you close your eyes to the successful marriages around you and look at selective failures to come to an incorrect conclusion? One monkey don't stop no show. One failure, or two, or three, or twenty five doesn't prove anything about the existence or non existence of love. Love is an emotion with plenty of logic in it explaining why we fall in love, with who and why some work out and others don't. Why not study this instead of giving up? : : You don't want to give up. You are just in the aftermath of a bad romance which we all go through. K.B. : : : : But this is what I have always believed all along anyway. : : It's just that before, very unlike right now, I never had any real kind of hard, concrete, hard evidence and proof that "romatic, true love" does not really exist after all, but only as a fairy tale, a kind of comic cruel 'joke', that if could ever exist in the first place, only would be nothing but a kind of cruel, evil, bitter trap for the unitiated to get suckered into and learn the hard way. : : I guess after just one God awful cruel evil experience like this is all one really has to have to learn one's lessons though. : : "Love" as in "true love" does not exist.
