: Let me revise this slightly to explain my point of view. I think it's pretentious for sheltered middle-class white kids to listen to gangsta rap, replete with its references of 40 ounce Mickey's and getting sucked off by hoes at the corner of Florence and Normandy.

I understand this view to some degree, because most of my peers and friends share it. I, however, do not. I think lyrical music (as opposed to instrumental, which may or may not be similar) is about fantasy and dreams, both good and bad. When I was a kid I listened mostly to rock - Pink Floyd, Judas Priest, etc. Lots of their songs are about drug trips, killing people, breaking the law, wild sex, etc. Did that make me pretentious, particularly because the band-members were from a different cultural group? I think sheltered middle-class white kids often find their social environment to be dull, empty, and meaningless, and something that is the polar opposite seems attractive (sort of like in that Rush song "Suburbs"). I agree that it can be funny/pretentious to see a kid who "wants to be black" acting/dressing/talking as though he were Snoop Dog. What I would like to see is the occasional black kid who acts/dresses/talks like Kid Rock or one of the Backstreet Boys!

: Fives retreat from the outer world to the inner one. They prefer being alone than with many people. They are very private with their lives. Most of the Five's quirks involve introversion in some form or another.

I believe this can vary a lot depending upon circumstance and age. When I was 17 I think I was *very* extraverted, even when compared to friends of different (extraverted) types. I hung out with a large group of people on a regular basis, and *never* spent time alone unless I was forced to. I didn't sit around thinking; I stayed out *drinking*. And partying and having fun.

: I doubt anyone on this board can come close to that score.

You are wrong. My girlfriend is in that range (1550 SAT). And pork posted his scores on 4 tests - all 160 or higher.
