Here's something to make you feel better about your scores, if you like...
When my son was tested in 1st grade, one of his scores was significantly lower than the others. The psychologist said that frequently (and definitely in his case) gifted kids will score lower on that section (it was a problem-solving section) not because they can't come up with the "correct" (highest scoring) answer, but because they will come up with their own answer that is unexpected. They get attached with their own answer because they think it's better in whatever way, but the evaluator is unable to give them the max points. So...I can see Little Pork (hey, did you ever have "Little Smokies" in your school cafeteria?) doing something like this... In fact, you did this with the problem you posted- preferring your own solution even though it may not have been the high point answer, if that makes sense.
