Finding security in NOT trusting others?

Trust/Security is the MAJOR Type 5 issue. Disillusionment with idealized love is more a Type 4 issue (as is depression.)

Sometimes a person subconsciously seeks out partners who are untrustworthy because betrayal reinforces his/her belief that people cannot be trusted. Sometimes not trusting people actually reinforces feelings of security because it is familiar and comfortable. (Ya know what I mean?)

Another common mistake? Confusing lust with love...
