In his biography, it says he was born November 3, 1939. That would put him in his sixty-THIRD year. : : My mom was born in 1953. She is 48, or to reword it, in her 48th year. : No, she is in her 49th year. A newborn baby is in its first year, although it may be only a few minutes old. When it turns 1 year old, it begins its second year. A 2 year old is in his 3rd year. A 17 year old is in the process of living his 18th year. A 48 year old is in her 49th year. : I will spell this out for you. Adi da Samraj was born in November of 1939. In the year 1940 before November, he was not yet a year old, so he was in his first year. In the year 1941 before November, he was not yet two years old, so he was in the process of completing his second year. 1940-1939=1, and 1941-1939=2. So, in any given year N before November, Samraj is in his N - 1939th year of existence. January is before November in 2002, and 2002-1939=63. Samraj is in his 63rd year of existence. However, he has only completed 62 years. Now, when was that particular part of the site updated? Could that sentence not have been written before Nov 3, 2001? Why does this issue even matter to you?
